Stanimir Ivanov
Stanimir is a young shipping professional with high achievements. A First-Class Honors BSc in Maritime Business and Logistics was obtained from the University of Plymouth (UK), along with the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport Award for achieving the highest marks. This academic foundation was complemented by a range of work experiences, including roles such as Vessel Operator at Chrismare S.A., where vessel operations were overseen, and coordination with various stakeholders for smooth operations was ensured. Additionally, a position as a Technical Assistant to the Director of the Medical Team at Pierre Fabre Group was held, involving tasks and cycle goals management. Valuable experience as a Freight Forwarder was also gained at Discordia AD, managing ocean and air transport logistics, while internships at Medlog Co. provided opportunities to negotiate fixture agreements, draft charterparties, and analyze legal cases.
Since 2020 Stanimr is working as a shipbroker at Chrismare SA and the at Oliva JSC. Currently as a Chartering Manager at BPP Shipping.
A well-developed skill set is commenced by Stanimir, and it encompasses strong motivation, which was cultivated through five years of athletics training and the attainment of a former national champion title. Proficiency in team dynamics is demonstrated through the successful participation in a crowdfunding project for Syrian refugee families.
