Omer is a seasoned commercial professional with nearly a decade of progressive experience in the maritime services industry. Currently serving as Commercial Director at Seven Seas Group in Singapore since December 2024, he has demonstrated strong leadership in business development and sales management across multiple international markets. His career trajectory shows consistent growth from trainee roles to senior leadership positions.
At Seven Seas Group – Maritime Services, Omer advanced through multiple roles over 9+ years, progressing from Sales Manager covering Singapore and Spain markets (2019-2020) to Commercial Manager (2019-2024), and most recently to Commercial Director. This progression reflects his proven ability to drive commercial success and expand market presence in the competitive maritime sector. Prior to this, he gained valuable purchasing and logistics experience at UTG Textile in Istanbul (2015-2016).
Omer holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Affairs from Universidade do Minho in Portugal, complemented by studies in Political Science and International Relations at Dumlupinar University. His educational background in international affairs, combined with an internship at ESN Minho, provided a strong foundation for his global commercial career spanning Europe and Asia.
