Course Description

Chartering a vessel refers to the hiring or renting of a ship’s capacity for transportation of cargo. Ships are chartered under different types of contracts, called the charterparties.

This Snapshot aims to elaborate comprehensively on the bedrock of chartering – the so called charterparty. It describes and explains the prevailing types of charterparties and further elaborates on details peculiar to each type.

The language of delivery is English.
