I was born and raised in Athens  and I have ontained my BSc in Philosophy and English literature at the American Deree College.

Sicne 1990, I started working  in the family business, in my father’s shipping magazine ELNAVI, dealing with women and their particularities in shipping. I established the eponymous column “The Woman on the Shipping Rota” where through the recording and description of the women I captured their lives, careers, beliefs, wants, passion and love for their work and shipping.

The books followed up and I have published 7 books with at least 120 interviews of women in maritime. Recently, I have started the biographies of Greek shipping personalities.

For me, journalism meansexpressing my beliefs, being independent and not being afraid of the challenges of the profession. Journalism for me is to always remain energetic, curious, enthusiastic, accurate. Searching for news, travel, photography makes me happy.

I am married to Stefanos Papandreou, my companion in life for 30 years and co-editor of the magazine and I have 3 children and a grandson whom I adore very much.
