I represent GAC Group in Greece for the last 21 years. My primary duties include Public Relations, Company’s marketing activities while promoting our products and Agency services to our Customers.
My main responsibility is the frequent contact with our principals –ship owners or charterers; as I work as the “linchpin” between principals and GAC’s operational offices worldwide. I am the first person to contact either for a normal or urgent port call (an injury, collision, pollution), or, just a financial issue.
Marketing for Shipping Agency is really challenging as exciting. One thing’s for sure, it definitely cannot be called “boring”. Every day is unique and the unexpected is my daily routine.
