Ships are chartered under different types of contracts, called the charterparties.

The present module aims to familiarize the participant with the broad category of mathematical calculations that come under the title ‘Voyage Estimates’. The participant will have the chance to delve into calculations relating to various checks, cargo capacity, voyage time, laytime, demurrage, dispatch, stoppages, shifting, voyage costs e.t.c.

The language of delivery is English.
