Snapshot in International Sanctions & Trade Restrictions for Ship Chandlers

Regulatory Essentials for Ship Chandlers in collaboration with the International Ship Suppliers & Services Association (ISSA) training courses
ISSA EXLCUSIVE TRAINING
Derived from: Session 4 of the full seminar "Crash Course in MLC 2006 – CODEX – Customs & Sanctions Compliance for Ship Chandlers".
Course Description
A short, high-stakes course on sanctions and trade restrictions as they affect ship suppliers. Participants learn how sanctions regimes operate, how to screen counterparties and conduct due diligence, and how to manage the compliance risks and consequences of getting it wrong — including the third-party and shell-company exposure that catches many suppliers off guard.
Why Attend
- A single missed screening step can expose a company to significant fines, frozen assets, or criminal liability, even when the violation was unintentional.
- You will gain a working due-diligence process you can apply before approving any new counterparty, vessel, or urgent order.
- Recommended for compliance officers, business owners, and anyone with authority to approve orders or new clients.
Note:
Our pre-recorded seminars are the ideal solution for delivering high-quality training to members across the globe. Designed for maximum flexibility, they allow participants to learn at their own pace, anytime and from anywhere. Each session is carefully prepared to ensure clarity, consistency, and professional delivery—providing a reliable, self-paced learning experience without compromising on quality.
