        Entry Requirements

        Whilst no formal language competence level qualification is required to attend the course, we are looking for participants that possess an intermediate level of English (B1/B2 Independent User on CEFR). Entry to the course is open to those
        • working or wishing to work in shipping or a shipping-related company who come from a non-seafarer background;
        • who aim to work in management and leadership roles in the shipping industry but have not started their career at sea.
        • personnel managers who wish to train shore-based personnel
        • English language teachers interested in teaching Maritime English and wishing to get acquainted with industry-specific terminology and concepts.
